Your eyes
then mine
a twinkle there
a sadness here
our eyes met...
I tried to look into them,
I fail to understand what they said...
yet i saw
the fleeting moments in them
the sunset
the sunrise
the words they spoke
that showed they still cared...
still cared to put me to sleep
still cared to see my smile
still remember me?
or is it a veil that knows no reason
or is it a pretence of normalcy....
