trying to write merrier blogs !!

Its 4 am now and I cant sleep. Not that I am suffering from any disorder, not that I donot want to. But I thought I could do better with penning down a few lines, some thoughts, few words that have been lingering on my mind. Watched this movie Notebbok for the zillionth times. Not my favourite, but yes I discover something new each time i watch it. My current state of mind adapts perfectly to the role each actor is playing and the funniest part is all the emotions are different from the last one. 

Duke (reading): "Southern summers are indifferent to the trials of young love. Armed with warnings and doubts, Noah and Allie gave a remarkably convincing portrayal of a boy and a girl traveling down a very long road with no regard for the consequences."

Duke (in voice-over narration): "I am no one special, just a common man with common thoughts. I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgotten. But in one respect, I've succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived. I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and for me, that has always been enough."

I have been told by my friends to post a little more happier posts, hence I will try to be as merrier/happier I can. Read Calvin & hobbes the entire day. Think he is the most intelligent and wittiest creation till date...or else how can he come up with something like :
“Why isn’t my life like a situation comedy? Why don’t I have a bunch of friends with nothing better to do but drop by and instigate wacky adventures? Why aren’t my conversations peppered with spontaneous witticisms? Why don’t my friends demonstrate heartfelt concern for my well being when I have problems? …I gotta get my life some writers.”

or something like :

Since September it’s just gotten colder and colder. There’s less daylight now, I’ve noticed too. This can only mean one thing - the sun is going out. In a few more months the Earth will be a dark and lifeless ball of ice. Dad says the sun isnt going out. He says its colder because the earth’s orbit is taking us farther from the sun. Makes you happy? But isn't there a truth hidden in all of the quotes above. Truly.
