15 things every person deserves to do for themselves

1. Cut ties with people, the so-called friends whom you express contempt for. Nobody deserves that- least you!
2. Stop settling for relationships especially the ones in which you are being settled for.
3. Stop going back to the person who doesnot value you. Its ok to be the person who loves more, just dont get used because of this.
4. Turn off your phone. Your life isnot happening on a newsfeed. Stop missing out.
5. Stop being busy as an excuse to be lazy.
6. Refuse to justify spending "too much " time on something you really enjoy and care about. Your personal goals are never futile endeavours. If you want to put your career first or your family first or your itch to travel or be creative, just do it. Do whatever makes you feel most complete and filled. Dont let anyone stop you by convincing you there is anything more important than what you inherently want.
7. Treat yourself to the things you love without feeling guilty about it.
8. Stop crafting personas that fit what parents, friends, relative expect of you. It wastes who you are.
9. Take a long vacation. Go places.
10. Express your opinion even if they are unconventional or unpopular. Stop believing disagreement is a bad thing. And dont be cornered into an agreement just because someone else's needs to be validated.
11. Embrace the fact what people choose to see in you, and say of you, it says much more of them than of you.
12. Apply the idea inwardly- to whomever you feel the need to judge. Its the most openly act of self-awareness. Its tough and then its freeing. Its daunting and then its worth it.Write down the things that bother you the most. Sit with it.
13. Learn to accept other people's opinion as neither good or bad. Its subjective. Only close minded people think otherwise.
14. Value your own desire more than appeasing other people. And stop playing roles with different people. 15. Ask what you deserve. Do exactly that.
